Another Tennessee member checking in.
I just bought my first Jeep Wrangler today. I was taking it on a test drive and the salesman said I needed to "open it up" to get a feel of it. She (The Jeep) sped up nicely and the 5 speed felt good, until I was in a easy curve crossing a bridge. The next thing I knew I thought I was going to flip over!
When I got back to the dealership the salesman saw how white my face was and he then told me about the death wobble and if I wanted something that goes fast he had a nice convertible he would sell me. I asked why didn't he warn me and he stated that he got tired of telling people who wouldn't listen and had to find out for themselves.
My wife, who has a Cherokee and has been trying for years to get me to drop my Blazer for a Wrangler saw the look on my face and told the salesman as soon as he changes his undies he will be hooked, which I was/am.
