FingerTight Being a newb I did some searching but didn't find anything. Where can I find more info like this? I'd love to learn more about:
- Basic rules for hit'n the trails with others
- Basic list of items we'll need to bring for a day...I'm sure this could be endless but I'm looking for the list that 'any idiot knows you should have that!!'

I grew up on dirt bikes and in dune buggies so I have a general idea but just picked up our first Jeep. It's got a winch and some other mods, I'm sure I'll need water, gas, shovel, gloves, a strap...what else?

nwbronco We usually go with 5 or 6 rigs. Today is 4 I think. The lower half is a nice scenic trail, the upper half, can be challenging.

206dawgfan Wish I could Bob, life has been very busy for me. I have been away from wheeling for 2 big reasons, my wife and I just had a daughter last month and we bought a house a few months ago. Me and my boys will be on the trails soon. Thanks for the invite.

206dawgfan I second all of these things, CB is very improtant, cell phones dont work a crap in the woods some times. Bob, cant wait to hit the trails with you again

nwbronco I politely enforce everyone having a CB Radio in their rig. If there is someone without, they end up in between folks that do. And the Jeep in the rear view mirror is always enforced.

**Trail rules: Keep headlights on, when headlights are off, that means something is up, and you should stop. If you cannot see anybody in your rearview, you MUST stop. Remember that parts break in inconvenient places, so even if you're having fun, do not leave your friends in the dust to walk back to base camp and tell you that you should have checked up on them.**
