ciamex I went to ACE and replacd all mine with grade 8's had to get a washer too... I figure the grade 8's can handle the heat better and when you have to crank them off they won't rotate the head off...

they are pricey though, but 3 years since the install... still look like the day I got em

Scott74d For the head itself, I snapped one and figure it's better to replace all the old rust prone bolts.

JimsJeep Are you talking about bolting up to the head or the exhaust pipe connection.

better bolts for exhaust manifold

Im doing the exhaust manifold on my 99 tj. i already snapped one bolt and im sure ill snap more. my question is can I replace these biolts with a better grade that is more rust resistant? and if so where is a good place to get them? the old bolts need to be replaced anyways.
