This is one of the best vids I've seen on DW and shimmy.

|ESP||Read through the DW sticky here on the forums by planman. Kjeeper is right about checking the track bar. No # 1 cause followed by joints, bushings, etc.|

|Brad48178||Get your tires balanced. I had some issues with DW changed the track bar bushing but still had a problem till I got my tires balanced and it took care of the problem. I will say the track bar bushing did tighten up my steering though.|

|BeyondYourFrontDoor||I just got my Jeep yesterday... hit one fairly small 'speed bump' type ridge on the highway, the steering wheel have a pretty good shake but did not continue to wobble. Is that 'normal' or I am just waiting for the real thing to happen to me?|

The KOR kit has a "beefier" track bar than standard and that's the primary reason it's hard to install in factory vehicles.

Notice how they focus on the Track bar?
99 % of the time DW is TB related. Bushings are worn, Holes ate ovaled out. Loose bolt.
Did you check any of this ?

Death wobble advice, specific situation
Hey there, my name's Max.
My vehicle: 2009 Sahara Unlimited, factory standard, so far as I know.
My situation: I live in subarctic Canada (specifically, here: chisasibi, qc - Google Maps) and make a 2,000km drive six times a year (Sussex, NB to Chisasibi, QC - Google Maps). There are two mechanics closeby. They are by all accounts competent, but most likely NOT Jeep experts. Furthermore, the better of the two probably speaks only French. I can have someone translate though. My personal knowledge of cars is too limited to DIY.
My problem: My vehicle has death wobble. Experienced it 10+ times on the way up. NOT bumpsteer. Pull over and stop was the only solution. Can't top 80km without shaking.
My proposed solution: Order the KOR Death Wobble Cure (JK Wrangler Death Wobble (2007+) : KevinsOffRoad.com, Hard-KOR Jeep Accessories for Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Commander, Liberty, and Cherokee). It's designed for lifted vehicles but I don't want to lift the vehicle at the moment. Lifting seems impractical for the ratio of highway driving to offroading I do. Also, I can't afford it just yet. Rather, Kevin e-mailed me a number of in-a-pinch solutions for installing the kit on a factory Jeep. I want to buy the kit and have it installed by a mechanic.
MY QUESTIONS: Does anything about this sound off? Is there a better solution for fixing the wobble in a factory vehicle? All advice appreciated. If you have something to sell me... don't be too shameless lol...
