|penguin_in_a_cj||ok man I had it in my old trail jeep. I can tell you this much. Putting it in emergency does not cause all four wheels to spin. It was kinda like a weird low range from my experiance. I did away with it in mine and liked it ever since. As for how it works I was slightly confused it looked almost vacuum operated on mine could be wrong. check and see on yours and get back with me|

|97REDTJ||I feel your pain agriesemer i have a 77 cj7 with it and i am so0o0o0o lost about the quadratrac thingy. I dont understand it one bit! So if you find anything out about it PLEASE let me know and ill do the same for you! Really though man i tried to play around with it and i was so confused it was bad!|

whats the deal w/ quadratrac
OK . Im pretty mech. inclined but am unsure of the whole quadratrac concept I have a 79 cj7 w quadratrac in the glovebox my father in law says that if you put it in Emergancy (quadratrac) than all four tires will spin but I know this is impossible because I dont have a locker front or rear so near as I could tell is the T-case has some sort of limited slip in it and only spins the front when needed is this and the switch will lock the Tcase... Is this how it goes??
The switch is unhooked right now so I cant test it , but Im building it for woods only so do I need to put vacuum to the Tcase to have four wheel all the time?
