I have exactly the same problem on my 98 !!! But I haven´t checked the fuel pump.
Jerry gives me an advice, " The FPR won't cause the engine to stall but it can cause a slow start if the Jeep has been sitting a while so it sounds like you probably have two different issues. A stalling engine is often caused by either a bad crankshaft position sensor or bad fuel pump, or less likely a bad camshaft position sensor "
Looks like you've tried it. If I found something else, I will let you know.

|xxBOsoxFANxx||I have a similar problem, about once a month for a couple days, mine will not idle, drives fine, but dies at idle. Dunno, hopefully your thread can find an answer for both of us.|

2002 jeep wrangler stalling
Hey y'all was needing a little advice here! I have a 2002 wrangler recently stalled on me like it ran out of gas! Tried starting it and got nothing! Waited 5 mins then it stArted ! Won't seem to stay on though! My fuel pump was changed a few months back and I recently had the fuel pressure tested so I know it is not the fuel pump, I have replaced TPS sensor and Cam sensor and it will not stay started for more than 1 to 2 mins! Anyone have any suggestions
