|Wattapunk||If the OME install wasn't bad, then the BL and MML is a cake walk( well, the BL anyways). Go with a 1.25" BL.|

|cpierich||Well I got the lift on yesterday. Was too excited to put it on that I completely forgot to take before pics of it to compare to the after. Haven't taken after pics either yet but will and post them soon. Installation wasn't too horrible mostly because I was able to take it to a mechanics garage and they let me use their lifts and such to do it. I wouldn't want to try to put this on in my own garage without lifts and such, but that's just me. Looks good with the lift, it isn't a huge change just looking at it but definitely got 2". No shake in first gear and the ride isn't too bad even with the heavy springs. I'm pretty happy with it. Thinking of the 1" body lift and 1" motor mount lift next to give it just a little more.|

That's the same kit we'll be installing on our '06 LJ Rubi. Fancy that. =p Should be getting it done in a couple weeks. My hubby and I lack mechanical aptitude, so we'll be observing and learning as his stepdad (mechanic) installs it. Glad to hear the transfer case won't need to be dropped. I had been reading about that somewhere on the forum but wasn't sure if it applied to a Rubi.
Be sure to let us know how the process goes for you. Seems like it should be a simple kit to install. If we get ours done before you do, I'll share some pictures and any helpful tips we discover.

|umake||Oh, you have a rubicon...you won't have to drop your transfer case.|

Take your time with rusty bolts to avoid stripping them and it should be fairly easy install.

With a D44 in front, you are probably going to need some front bump stop extensions to keep the track bar from hitting the diff.

Old Man Emu Lift Kit Question
Hey all, I'm planning on purchasing and installing my first lift kit ever so wanted to get some input from those that are experienced. After browsing through different threads I've come to the conclusion I'm going to go with the Old Man Emu 2" lift kit. I have a 2006 Rubicon Unlimited and was wondering if anyone has installed this kit on the same Jeep? If so, can you tell me if the T-Case drop is required with the LJ? I read that it wasn't but wanted to make sure based on others experience. Also, a lot of people are saying to relocate the rear trackbar, does this come with the kit? I see it has the rear trackbar bracket, but it doesn't say that it's the relocation bracket or just the bracket? Also, opinion on light, medium or heavy? I plan to get bumpers, winch, etc in the future so I was thinking of heavy to prevent any sagging and such but wasn't sure. This isn't my daily driver so a stiffer spring I don't think would bother me much. Thanks everyone for their input and suggestions!
