vin211 They ranked higher than the Goodyear Wranglers and the BF's. My co-worker has them on his Jeep Cherokee and he loves them.

I was thinking of going to Town Fair Tire. Has anyone heard of places not putting tires on because they're not stock. The stock tire for my TJ is the 30 X 9.5. I want to put on 31 X 10.5.

If not, I'll be like fine, bye I'm out. Thanks

mknight759 . I think I'm gonna go with Firestone Desintation AT's this is the tire we run on our trucks at work not because they are good but because thats what we get a deal on i personally do not like them the cooper or bfg at's are so much better a little more but well worth the little bit extra my 05 had 31 bfg at's and no rubbing

He said Firestones. I had a set of Bridgestones on my GMC and I agree. They were excellent tires!

Firestone had some work to do to get their reputation back after they and Ford couldn't decide how to work together well and Ford essentially blamed all those Bronco rollover crashes on the tires.

I won't come out and say to stay away from the Firestones, but I wouldn't buy any. I don't know what the price on those tires are, but some comparison shopping is my 2cents.

Hold on just one second!!!!

The bridgestones will work well for you if you plan on staying on the pavement.

If I was spending money on "all-terrain" tires; I would most definitely go with the BFG AT KO.. They will only cost you another $100 for the set, but you will get sooo much more out of them when compared to the Bridgestone. I have run the BFGs and they are GREAT Trail riders until you get into mud.. That is when things will get a little dicey for you as most AT tires will "gum-up" quickly.. They will last a lifetime should you treat them right, and they are by far the best snow tire I have ran to date..

Spend an extra $100 and go with the BFG AT KO: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO

I actually run the Bridgestone duelers on my GMC Yukon during the winter months and they are a very nice tire, but they seem designed to ride more like a passenger tire.

My $.02

Jma20a why not new wheels with more backspacing?

vin211 31 X 10.5 will rub. Plus I like the way it gives it a bit wider of a stance. I'm a crazy sob.

TJ-Jeepin Why did you install the wheel spacers?

Just Installed.....

Hey Guys,

Just had my 1 1/4 Wheel Spacers installed on my rig. Up next you ask? Well I'm going to get:

31 X 10.5 tires. I think I'm gonna go with Firestone Desintation AT's actually. You're probably like what?!!! Why?

According to tirerack.com, those firestones rate higher than Goodyear's of the same size. Don't believe me lol, check it out

Firestone Destination A/T
