|ErikD957||Thanks guys. I've already tried using the vice grips, but I'm pretty sure the screw is rusted on to the "sheath" it's screwed into. The heads have been cut off with a sawzall, so it's sounding like I'm gonna be buying a drill bit to go through it. Thanks so much for your input! I didn't think swapping out fender flares was going to be such a production!!!|

|mikeym||grab ahold of the studs that are left with a pair of vise grips, then have a friend or someone use a hack saw or sawzall, shouldnt take much, just be careful the sawzall operator doesnt let it skip against the fender|

Fender flare HELP needed desperately!!!
Ok, so I bought a set of Rugged Ridge All-Terrain fender flares for my '02 TJ. I've had the hardest time removing the old faded factory flares, but finally did it, with a few exceptions.
There are about 5 or 6 screws that are rusted on or something because I can't remove them to save my life!!! When I had the oil changed, my mechanic/tech sawed off the screw heads and washers that wouldn't come off. Now I'm left with remnants of the mounting screws from the original flares that are preventing me from mounting my new ones because they use the same holes in the fender!
Any advice on how to remove what's left of the old screws??? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
