New to the Jeep World

Hey guys,

Just purchased my new Jeep - and in fact, my first EVER vehicle. It's a beautiful 2007 JK Sport 2dr Auto, 6cyl 4.0L soft top. I can't even believe it's mine, it still hasn't sunk in. I love it so much to the extent that I almost spent the night in the back seat the first night.

Although I would eventually be interesting in off-roading with the Jeep, I am comfortable driving it around my city (as I am a brand new driver), and the accessories that it has (carpeted floors, new electronics, new polished bodywork) are preventing me from even parking it outside, let alone getting it dirty!

I guess I joined to get easy advice for the vehicle from a brand new owner, and also to answer some incredibly basic questions, namely, why is getting the soft top on and off so hard? I've just been leaving the top down permanently - does anyone else do this?

Anyway, nice to meet all of you. I hope I can begin my Wrangler journey here with you!
