Imporntance of "V" brace behind grill?

So the v brace behind my grill was starting to get rusty, so i took it out and painted it, but when i put it back in i broke the frigging bolt off that holds it on the bottom . I have to go to class here shortly and dont have time to pull the darn radiator and ac condenser to gain enough access to drill it out and tap it, my question is: how imporntant is that brace? am i going to truck anything up by not having that attached and driving it? Im going to try and zip tie it so it doesnt rattle against my ac condenser for now but i was just wondering.

Thanx in advance
