Goodyear MTR/Kevlar in 33x12.5r15 - $1,064
GT Radial Aventuro (w/o Kevlar - 983

Difference = $81

For $80 I would go with the MTR's with Kevlar.

little1989jeep I ran them for a long time. They have a good amount of noise but no where near bogger levels but decently noticeable. Mine started humming around 35 and you knew you had mud tires flying down the interstate

WXman Awesome, so they aren't obnoxiously loud on the road??

djnoslip They weigh 56lbs each...my 4cyl has no problem turning them. I also paid a lil more to have them internally balanced...thus eliminating flinging/tearing the weights off.

adventuro m/t's

Responding to your question about the gt radial m/t's, I was running the adventuro a/t's...I now have a fresh set of the m/t's...same size your looking into. I could not be happier with the performance, low road noise, and the look! They have never left me stuck on the trail! My usual trailing partner runs super swampers, and I have watched him make several attempts on obstacles...while I make it in one pass. All in all...super happy, aggressive tire and very affordable!!!

TheDesertOutlaw I see that America's Tire carries them.

Anybody run 'em? How loud are they compared to other mudders?

DTD has 'em for $168 + $30 rebate right now in the 33x12.50-15 flavor. That's a killer deal on a mud tire...but there is zero information about these on the Web.

I'd like to know if they are loud, if they balance OK, and how heavy they are.
