|gregshepherd||I recently installed the 2.5 inch kit on my 2009 JKU. I did it solo and it took quite a long time over a couple of days. I have very little mechanical knowledge. I just read the instructions over and over along with a couple calls to the shop where I bought the kit and a posting or two on this forum. No coil compressor was necessary. Several folks have commented that the geometry brackets are recommended. I installed those too. Ride is great. Feel free to PM me with questions and I will try to help.|

Would have had the budget (or come in the kit) for a trackbar if you didn't buy AEV. Oh well enjoy.

|tewhite||Didnt get an adjustable track bar for the front. I had a budget and it went to a the lift kit and some rims and 35s. Thanks for the info!|

AEV lift kit
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and I'm also a new wrangler owner. I have recently bought a aev 2.5" lift kit and am looking to instal it with a couple friends of mine.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience installing this kit or any kit on a 2012 JK? Will I need a coil compressor and what would the difficulty be?
