97GreenGiant Yeah can't wait to get my military discounts for everything I signed with the marine corps just waiting to graduate
09-27-2012 10:06 PM
jeepgarza yea I have the door surrounds, I think ill have to buy one of these in the next week or so. It looks like a sweet top. the top I have now is super old starting to rip and its just a generic brand im guessing it has no labels on it. I was thinking about going with truckaddons its about 350 but i heard they will match amazon and beat them buy 5% so maybe ill get a military discount too plus 50 bucks off rampage stuff too! i can smell a good deal ha

97GreenGiant Also the tinted windows keeping cooler and at night help the lights behind you driving and looks better. 😎

97GreenGiant Yes any wafer Chanel will work. I got mine frame 4 wheel drive hardware. I wanna say it was around 370$ free shipping since it was over $100. Also do you have door surrounds I had to buy those too. Drove it not on highway yet but going 60 there was very little noise. I switched from a bestop top and it is so much quieter. There are hardly and blind spots the biggest windows ever in it. Has the storage bag in the top to put windows when going into safari mode. The only complaint is the tightener strap on the inside flaps a little so I ties it to itself and pulled it tight still a little flapping but not as bad. I would deffinately suggest this top to someone.

jeepgarza looks real nice! im liking it. how is the noise on highway? where did you buy from and did you buy the windshield header? I have a head from my summer tops and was thinking that it would work but not sure.

97GreenGiant It's actually really thick nice and heavy it's double layered and has support and tensioning straps all around here are some pics. The last one is of these pockets it comes with they are above the sun visors
09-27-2012 07:17 PM
jeepgarza looks good! how is the thickness and all?
09-27-2012 07:09 PM
97GreenGiant One of the windows zipper is broke called them and they are sending a new one
09-27-2012 07:01 AM
97GreenGiant Maybe a little but it has a couple bars in it that are supposed to reduce noise

yea thats what i thought too but i see they also sell some type of material that goes on the top thats suppose to absorb the noise??

97GreenGiant Ill post it tomorrow and I'm going from a best top to the rampage

jeepgarza Ha true when I said noise I didn't mean car quiet but jeep quiet if that makes sense I just bought my jeep it's black with spice soft top looks good I think. My last jeep was green with a black sail cloth looked good also but I wanted a spice/tan. Sucks that they don't make the sail cloth in spice though.
09-26-2012 09:21 PM
blueskiesbill On a real note, please post the spice. I'm thinking blk b/c it just looks nice, an the tan ones I have seen have not looked to great but they have not seemed to look like they were installed properly.
09-26-2012 09:18 PM
blueskiesbill Noise! It's a jeep, the greatest vehicle to take Ur chic in so you don't have to talk to her!!! ;-) especially when she's bitching!

Green Jeeps with Rampage Top

Hey all, looking to put a Rampage top on the jeep, and was hoping to see some rampage tops on ur green Jeep. I am hoping to see the difference between black and Tan tops on a green jeep, but if you have another color on their show that one too as it will give me an idea of how the top looks on a green jeep period. Thanks!
