|3JKs1H1||Went to the shooting range today and did a minor brake/swerve to miss a hawk coming in. On way home, had another manuever to miss a flock of turkey vultures (buzzards). I would have gotten two of them had I not been paying attention. Managed to get the ESC light on. It was on for the 60 mile trip home, and required a couple restarts/drive around block to go off. All is fine. If you're light went off, I wouldn't worry about it - just showing you a wheel/tracton control event occurred. PS, with that light on, the cruise control doesn't work.|

ESC Light Comes On when On the Beach
Took my 3 month old 2012 Unlimited Sahara on the Beach. Followed advice from this forum to go in 4H, and disable the ESC. Worked fine the first three times out on the beach, but the last trip out the ESC warning light came on despite the fact I pushed the button to disable the ESC. The two icons are right next to each other on the instrument panel. The owners manual says if the ESC light comes on and stays on, take it into the dealer. The light stayed on the entire time I was on the beach in 4H (about 2 hours) and when I switched out of 4H, it stayed on for another 15 minutes and went out.
Any ideas why and if I should be concerned?
