After getting about a gazilllion quotes on a bumper w/tire carrier, this was the cheapest way I could go, besides, I read a lot of complaining on having to open the tire carrier before you could open the gate. Seems like this is my best bet in this situation.

My tailgate flexes with the 33 spare. This is the fix.

Beach-Bum What's a teraflex hinge?
10-01-2012 07:44 PM
americonium There's a Teraflex hinge on it's way to my house, but I'm probably not going to wait to put it on, since there is a good reason for my ordering it in the first place.

Long Island Mod Meet

Hey, just throwing the idea out there. I know it's starting to get colder out so if we can't figure something out before winter maybe we can do something in the spring. I've been to a few mod meets in my tuner days. Anyone interested in getting a group of guys together to wrench on our jeeps?drink some beer, eat some pizza etc. I can fit 3-4 jeeps in my driveway (i live in patchogue) but it's a gravel driveway so not great to work in. There's a public lot 2 houses down, not sure how empty it will be (it's for a baseball field).

Any interest in this?
