pluke the 2 i hope youre not looking or seeking to do high speed sand dunes. because the jk isn't really good for that. and if you want to make it good at that, youre looking at spending a lot of money.

but if your talking about slow sand crawling then the JK is good out of the box. and it doesn't need anything to make it better at that. perhaps a new engine but thats out of the question.

Farnham21 Sounds decent too me the tires aren't that big so you might not need a new tire carrier I would just grab some beers and have some dub if you have any problems you know what to get for next time

New build - sand NOOB

Found a good deal on a 2012 JK Sport out here in Abu Dhabi.

I can add 2" Mopar lift, Cooper Discoverer STT 285/70R17 (new rims too) for a pretty reasonable price.

Environment will be mostly city with weekends off in sand dunes. Really like the look of moderate lift and bigger tires...but any insight into issues I might face, other mods I might need, whether this is a reasonable starting point for a build?

Appreciate any insight.
