Lynchburg and Glauchau, Saxony

Greetings to all Jeepers who live in Lynchburg, VA and surrounding.
I get my Rubicon in May 2013.
As you know Lynchburg and Glauchau are sistercities. Sometimes I was already in Lynchburg and it would be nice to knew more about Lynchburg-Jeepers.

BBQJeep Get a Topo Virginia altas and look in Amherst and Nelson counties. Shoe creek is nearby and tough. There is easier stuff off the parkway.

Lynchburg Jeeps

Just picked up a 97 TJ two weeks ago. Couldn't pass up for the price and condition.
Looking for some suggestions on some trail riding. Not looking for intense off-roading, but something I can take the wife on for some scenic views and what not without risking breaking anything for now.
Still convincing her that the Jeep was a good buy (Married guys should understand).
