|iparra77||Ive been having the same problem I already switched the inner seal twice. I had to remove my drive shaft to slow the leak to just drops not puddles. Does anyone know what I can do? 1994 Jeep renegade 4.0|

|TKorona||The front and rear brakes were all just redone before I bought it. Maybe that had something to do with it? I dont know. Like I said, its not gushing or pooling underneath. I'm gonna clean it all off like you said.|

is there a chance that someone with a grease gun made a mess in there last time they hit all of the grease zirks? Just something to check for... I would spray it clean with some gunk or other degreaser then keep an eye on it for awhile.
If you continue to get a slow roll of fluid on there over time, these guys are right on. If you degrease it and it never comes back, then it was just a tech mess.

|whitebuffalo||Just keep the diff topped off until you do fix it. iirc, you have to pull the diff to replace the driver side seal, but its no biggie (ring and pinion setup wont be affected), just remember to reinstall the bearing caps the way they were installed (top vs bottom and left vs. right)|

Front axle leak? Opinions please!
I have had my 95 YJ for almost a month now. Everything has been great! For the most part, she's air tight. Leaks nothing. Stupid cowl drain I'll have to take a look at judging by the water on the passenger floor, but other than that I have been so pleased with my new-to-me wrangler.
My only real issue right now is that 2 weeks ago my front axle on the drivers side looked kind of wet? Now it doesnt look wet, but its got that gritty (I really hope not axle grease) dark coating on the part that I have highlighted in the picture. Right inside the red circle.
This picture is not my jeep. Im using it just to give you an idea of where I'm looking. I know, I know, I need an actual pic. Sorry, no camera right now. Spent all my money on the jeep
just messin... Im finishing up my undergraduate and I just want to know that the jeep will get me home safe (about 120 miles or so) in two weeks.
