ELIMINATOR Total conversion = 17,000

ELIMINATOR But the E-ROD LS3 engines are a bit more pricey due to extra emissions parts; bank 1&2 cat converters etc.

ELIMINATOR Cost of engine was 6200.00

Cost of wiring harness was 950.00

Cost of computer was 1000.00

TJJOE2012 How much did the total conversion cost and how long did it take you?

I've been wanting to do a Chevy swap into my TJ for a while. I have two different 350's but decided I wanted a newer EFI LS motor due to emissions. I've been looking into the LS2, LS3, and 5.3L vortecs.

The cluster you have looks pretty sweet by the way.

ELIMINATOR
LS3 376/480 tj bulid

Notice the tight clearance with the driver side shock tower and the power steering pulley to the steering shaft

ELIMINATOR i am at a standstill. i have to shim the motor up 1/4 inch because of the corvette accessory drive system, i should have went with the 2011CAMARO set-up but i guess i didnt do all of my homework. the corvette altenator drive system in a 2000 tj is a bit close to the shock tower and puts the steering shaft in a bind with the power steering pump. any of you builders our there with a tj, TAKE NOTE OF THIS

Autometer
Auto Meter

Ordered matching Tachometer & second Temp guage.
The 'other' temp guage is mounted on a dash pod for the transmission.
