87YJWrangler Yeah I know I gotta get some on there again just I gotta make them and I dont have a welder or the rubber stops. Think I can buy em? and just bolt them on?

payj90 mine had rusted pretty bad too so i just took them off and thought nothing of it, and it was fine for a year then i had the axle hit the oil pan, so i took the pan off beat it back out put it back on and was only going to being driving on road until i put some bumpstops on. then drove into a feild party and did it again. i guess the moral of my story is it will probley happen again.

87YJWrangler Had and looks as tho they have rusted away I figure when I get my lift kit ill put new ones on along with a new pan and skid plates all along the important parts i.e. Oil pan, pumpkins along with lockers, fuel tank, and transfer

payj90 been there, you should consider some better bump stops

Fixed it

Fixed the issue I dented my oil pan under the first piston and it was knocking on the piston bearing

Knocking noise after a little rough road action

Okay it was after doing about 10mph over a set of potholes that shook the hell out of me and my YJ it starting knockin it sounds like its either comin from the transfer case or piston 1 or 6 its still knockin I need help. If anyone has had this issue before advise would be helpful
