southpaw75 Same here but its just steam that goes away. I wish I could figure out the why it happens and where the moisture is coming from.

TrueNorth Mine steams for quite awhile after I wash the Jeep and get the radiator nice and soaked.
Same goes after driving in rain/snow.
Freaked me out the first time, thought I punctured the radiator or split a hose.

Master Pain 80 Had the same thing the other day. Its just steam. It lasted about 3 seconds then stopped. It was a good downpour here all day.

tabber02 yeah.. need a little more info. steam or smoke? did it have an odor? probably wouldn't hurt to lift the hood and check with the engine at temperature. you'd smell antifreeze if your radiator was leaking...

Ltblue It could be a few things.. Did you open the hood to check? If not, check the radiator and the engine.

I recently purchased a 2008 jeep wrangler. We had a heavy rain last night . When I stopped at my first stop light this morning I noticed smoke rising out from under the hood. Is this just condensation burning off ? I have never seen this in any of my other vehicles
