Another lift alternative, is a 2" BDS suspension lift. I run a 2" BDS and 1.25" JKS bodylift and my ride is smoother than stock! Off-road, the BDS flexes to no disappointment. I am very happy with this combo and would definitely buy again - if need be.

BDS also has an excellant warranty on their products.

4Jeepn As stated time will tell, what I would what to know is, why change now, most of the issue have been known for years. Granted I run their springs on the ZJ, and they are okay, but that was a price buy($60 for all 4 new) vs any thing else, could have been Ted's springs at that price.

Some there say they like their new RC kits but the overall feeling there is probably about the same as it is here. Mostly negative comments on them generally but RC has announced recent improvements to their lifts so maybe their reputation will improve as time goes by.

Ol' Red Damn you guys are tearing Rough Country a new asshole. The guys on jeepforum love RC. From what I have been told RC re-engineered their kits or something like that so they do not ride as bad as they used to. People who run the new kits say they are much better than the old ones and actually like the lift.

GrnTJ If your going to do a 2.5" lift kit then get this:
TJ Old Man Emu lift - Stage 3

Thats one of the, if not the very best riding kits you can get at that height. Plus, it already comes with your 1.25" body lift and a 1" motor mount lift. Get this kit and you'll be set to rock 33's just fine and you'll have a killer ride too. Trust us, you dont want rough country, the name says it all...ROUGH!

As for the wheels, it depends on the width of tire you decide to buy. If you get some tires that are 10.5" wide you should be alright but if you get a 12.5" wide tire (like most 33's are) then you have to buy new wheels that are wider and have more back spacing. Id suggest just getting the new wheels since you can usually get black steelies for pretty cheap anyway. Seen here:
15x8 5-4.5 w/ 3.75inch BS

Good luck in your choice but I highly suggest no matter what it is, it doesnt involve rough country.

MoA i run about 3.25'' of lift and 33s... with the properly backspaced rim and proper bumpstops

like mr c said.. search rough country.. all i gotta say is JUNK...

id look into either the 2.5'' OME coils with OME shocks, or a BB and use either RE monotube or OME nitrocharged shocks

MR.CLIFFORD search "rough country" and then ask your question again.
