robdizzle I left it on. Sounds good during decel with no popping. Has a nice mellow rumble.

JeeperJake Since my little incident with the custom Flo Masters without resonators on my 73 454 Chev pick up I've been less enthusiastic about 'hearing my motor'.....

Did you remove the resonator? I had a 40 series installed, but left the resonator for now. Wasn't sure how it would sound or if it would have the popping on decel.

Trying to decide on a 2012 exhaust....help!
Who else likes to hear their engine?
Exhaust opinions
is there an exhaust option that doesn't sound like a rice rocket?
Any 2012's with aftermarket cat-back?

advice on the sound of my jeep

I'm wanting a little advice on making my jeep sound a little bit more "manly". I don't want it to be loud, I just want to be able to hear it a little more than stock. I went from a 1984 Bronco that I had for the past 12 years that was piped out, really loud, to a new 2012 Wrangler. I'm not used to not hearing the exaust. I realize I'm not going to get the same sound that I got out of my V8, I just want a little sound. Does anyone have any advice on weather to go with a new exaust, a new intake, or both. Any advice would be appreciated.
