Rubicon2014 i went to naugatuck state forest via cold springs road this past weekend and unfortunately when i got to the trailhead it was closed w/signs stating: " state property no tresspassing. " i was speechless. can't tell you how many times i went wheelin'/hiking here. hopefully it will be re-opened. i know work is being done on a small viaduct further down cold springs road; maybe that explains why the road is closed?

notstuckjustrestinginmud Naugatuck State Forest, use Andrew Mountain Road, you can by-pass fire road gates. Goes all the way from Naugatuck to Oxford, rocky, sometimes steep, no mud. Largely follows power lines.

Anyone know of any trails in CT? Not too muddy, more rock climbing.
