Triple88a its not hard to remove it or install it, just takes time read the instructions and you'll be good to do it your self (as long as you have ur old nuts and bolts)

wallyworld1209 I'm guessing the quality of the job was good because it cost a pretty penny to get the lift installed. I just hope it won't cost as much for him to take it off haha. Thanks

Jerry Bransford How difficult it is depends on how "thorough" the guy was that installed the 3" body lift was (he should have been SHOT for going along with it ). If he used heat to bend the transmission shifter then it may look pretty odd once the 3" has been reduced. He probably also had to extend the fuel and vent lines. How he did that is also going to affect how hard this job will be. If he installed a transfer case shifter bracket to level it up, that may have to be removed too. That bracket fixes the problem where the transfer case shifter bracket is uneven due to the side of it bolted to the tub which has been lifted up 3". Good luck since it may not be real easy, but getting rid of that 3" BL will be worth whatever effort it takes.

Body lift removal

About 6 months ago I got a 3" body lift installed on my Jeep. I thought it would be a good and cheap alternative to a spacer lift but I was wrong. The ride quality has decreased over time and it makes my Jeep look really dumb. So anyways I was wondering if I could remove it. I've heard you can only downgrade to a 1" body lift, but I would prefer if I could just remove the whole thing all together and start fresh. Any input and tips would be helpful. Thanks
