1st Offroad Trip! (Core Banks/Cape Lookout)

Recently purchased my 1st Jeep (2000 heavy modified Wrangler), and will be taking our first offroad trip next weekend. We are headed from Greenville, SC to the NC outerbanks. Plan on taking the 9:00 am ferry from Davis, NC to Core Banks. From there, we will spend the day exploring and fishing up and down the coast. The kids and I can't wait. It should be a blast!

If anyone has any special tips about heading that way, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!
