on the way to work this morning, running a little late, decided to try and break the land speed record for a Jeep! Got to a section of the road that was level as the salt flats and I unleashed the beast! All four 33 inches of rubber and mountain goat of a machine moving at a new land speed record, 65 mph! I took this picture for evidence just in case no one believed me, but thankfully a Greene County Sheriff was a witness to it and turned on the celebration lights and escorted me of the runway to give me my very own certificate of validation. It says here 65 / 55 mph 10+ speeding. I broke the record by 10 mph!
HAHA!! This is hilarious!

It's pretty cool to think your able to be in shorts and flip flops around the Xmas-New year's time. While 600 miles north at home it's grey and Rainy. It's about 1/2 hour north of the mexico border. So we usually take a day and drive down to hit a border town for food, beer and trinkets. Coming home in Jan with a tan is a bit different.

Jeffcs Bringing this back to the jeep thing that others don't understand
I love sitting in my naked jeep having some yuppy in a Prius pull up next to me staring at my Jeep with this look in his eye - I'm thinking he's wishing he got a Jeep instead cause his kids sitting in the squashed little back seat won't remember the MPG but would have remembered how cool and much fun it was to ride in a naked Jeep
