Ok I think I partially understand what your trying to do....maybe.
You want to remove part of the inside of the stock bumper underneath the plastic covering but NOT the steel piece the plastic cover covers when on the jeep?
I've not heard of any one doing this if so, most just put on a new bumper. The stock ones are garbage.

Well I can't find any.
I've looked forever. All videos are replacing the bumper with another, not the stock. So the reinforcement comes right off with it.

|ESP||There are vids on youtube about removing the stock bumper entirely. Its very simple.|

Well In Florida I don't think theres a law.
And I have to replace the bumper with a stock one.
I have the cheapy plastic cover, but that reinforcement is what I need out. I don't see anywhere I could take it out from.

|ESP||^ check out motor laws in your state concerning whether or not a front bumper is required. Pretty sure you need one.|

Well I removed the whole thing.
Heres two pictures of both sides.
I'm thinking maybe I should put it back and not remove all bolts?

|appleman46||Yeah, should be located to where you should be on your back under the bumper to remove.|

|SilverSport||There should be two bolts on each side that hold the metal reinforcement to the plastic cover.|

Front bumper reinforcement removal.
I had a dent in my front bumper so I decided to buy a new one on ebay.
Silly me I didn't know it was only a black bumper COVER. But regardless I removed the bumper but I can't manage to remove the bumper reinforcement inside the original dented bumper. Any help? Looked around for hours and can't seem to find an answer.
I own a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X if that helps
