|MFaust||Oh well. No way to short cut it. I had to disassemble the winch from the winch plate to get that one bolt on. Lesson learned.|

|MFaust||Anybody have any tips on how to get that screw in the back of the winch plate on with the winch in the way? Thanks in advance.|

Helps a little...I guess
(And yes, that plate is zip tied on lol!)

I just saw this thread, read the OP's question and skipped to the end, so I apologize if this has already been covered.
I had the same problem after installing my Mass Art and I didn't like the gap in between the bumper and the grill. Instead of flipping the stock mud catcher around like several other posters have I actually cut notches in the leading edge of the stock mud catcher with a jig saw and re-installed it that way.

|MFaust||I finally got my Engo Winch E10000 yesterday which I want to install this weekend. My winch plate on my rampage bumper is countersunk on the bottom (correct side). I saw a couple of links on here in regards to the flat head bolts that I could use but was still unclear. Can anyone kindly clue me in on the exact bolt that they used to fit the winch to the winch plate? Thanks again in advance.|

So true people think you will lose travel or get hung up with a big bumper , but the way the bumper is made it does not have a issue
Big rock looks close in the picture but I had plenty of room

Otherwise- no drilling as mentioned. Easy install. Keep the small plastic trim piece off your stock bumper for use as a filler. (see Page # 1 or #2).
I really love this bumper- so many people shrug off mid-width bumpers for fear of losing articulation or clearance. Bullcrap. And its held up extremely well- I've used it to clear brush and move trees. LOL.

|jeepergirl12||Got my bumper installed. Couldn't be happier with it. So far I've got 1/4" height loss on my front springs. Going to drive around a while and see if I get more compression.|

It was a direct, bolt-on installation for me.
There have been one or two people in this thread that had to grind/flatten the front edges of their frame but that takes like ten minutes with a grinder.

Bolt on no alterations to your Jeep, sweet.

|Knuckles65||I didn't have to drill anything to get my bumper on. It was a direct fit.|

|ADee1||I like it a lot, read reviews, some say there's drilling etc to get it on others say no. Is it a direct replacement, requiring no drilling etc. or not? Thanks.|

|Damooch||If you have a hawse fairlead on your winch I used the rocdog fabrications license plate holder. It works really well. They also make it for the roller fairlead|

The skid is on the heavy side when laying on your back and working from under the Jeep. A second pair of hands would make it much easier as you line things up.
I installed this skid within two weeks of buying my Jeep. I couldn't stand the plastic "air dam" as it offers NO protection - especially on a Rubicon where the electronic sway bar disconnect is right there out front. Not knowing what bumper I was going to wind up with, this was the only skid I was able to find that didn't attach to a bumper.
I have no reservations of recommending this skid to anyone looking for better protection.

You can just about see it in this pic. It does not mount to the bumper.

|fp8950||Anyone running this bumper with the Metal Cloak Flat flares? I like this bumper, but figuring maybe I should go with a midlength or a stubby with the Metal Cloak flares as they may look funny together.|
