It's got to be excessive parasitic current draw. When you say you checked for that, what reading did you get? You want to take the measurement in series with the battery's negative post and the negative cable - you should see less than .04 amps or 40 milliamps after everything has shut down.
If you've replaced the battery and you are positive the alternator is fine (13.8 - 14.4 volts when the engine is running) than it has to be something drawing too much from the battery and draining it.

Gotta be one of those 3. The battery isnt holding (or is loose), the alt isnt charging it, or the car is bleeding it out.
How did it test good? (Which test method, I mean) With 1 bad cell it may test right but not provide cranking amperage, as they are compiled from a series (6) of cells. Nevermind, you replaced the batt already.
What is it doing? Slow crank, no crank, intermittent crank, jumpable, etc?
If I remember right, Benjamin Franklin actually coined the term battery for electricity after an artillery battery, because of the resemblence of the cannons and of the cells lined up to amass the needed force. Neat, huh?

having electrical problems and need help
Electrical problem with my 90 jeep YJ. New baytery, altenator tested good, not a loose battery connection tested for paracidic drain and did not find one, and after all that she still wount keep a charge. Any ideas of wat to check?
