|mrbigjeep||dude you may have saw my post a while back about a leak and i THOUGHT it was coming from the tranny but it was actually coming from right where yours is!!! i just thought it was from the tranny because the oil ran down to the bottom of the tranny and dripped from there and i thought it was actually leaking from the tranny but it had just ran down from there. dang mines an 06 and its already doin it. i thought it was because i went through water. maybe not! i guess i should just get it checked under warranty|

|jeeperman||My guess is that it is a rear main seal leak... Eventually they all leak like that, just takes about 10 times that long if you are lucky!!! Good that you caught it now, before you are out of warranty!|

Leaking oil coming from...
Ok so i found oil leaking coming from were the oil pan and transmission meet. My jeep is only a year old with 12,400 miles is this normal. I took it to the dealer and they said that it is a 2 day job, the good thing is that my jeep is new and i dont have to pay anything out of pocket. Here are some pics, can anyone tell me why this would happen to a year old jeep and what can cause this problem thank you.
