Beach-Bum Never ran out of gas before. But I pretty much never had more than 3/4 tank. I guess I should get a new 20 gallon sending unit and gasket eventually

Beach-Bum ok not the results i was looking for.... i was able to get a little over 12 gallons (most ive ever gotten without the pump shutting off or spilling. i got greedy kept filling another 1/4 gallon and it shut off, one more little pump and it started to overflow.... what gives?

Beach-Bum lol i almost posted as a joke before that i'll just use a torch. didnt know if anyone would take me seriously on that but yeah i got it out!
i eventually got it out by just tearing away at it with my crappy little needle nose pliers... i thought getting the hose out was gonna be the easy part. i was surprised at how easy it was to access all the hose clamps. it all came apart pretty easy. my tank is below 1/8th so i cant wait to see how many gallons it takes..

also took apart the GM hose with the check valve and inserted it to my fuel filler so i will report back on if i spilled any gas! very productive day, thanks for all the quick tips guys

Beach-Bum dont have needle vice grips.... im "F"ed

Redrider94 I used needle nose vice grips, twisted and pulled as the tube came out I cut it off and griped it again. Not as easy as everyone said it was to get out. Tube is about 12" long, saved about the last 2" in the vent tube to give it a little extra strength.

Need help ASAP w/ gas Tank mod

Doing the 20 gallon gas Tank mod as well as replacing the fuel filler with the GM hose to stop overflow

Completely mangled the vent tube and can't get it out. It's stuck to the wall of the nipple. I've been prying away it it with a screw driver and needle nose plyers. It won't budge!

Someone help!
