jokerchief462 Twenty five years of rust when I opened up mine and that started the month long dashboard build. It was worth all the work won't need it again until I am buried in the thing.

Raoul I believe he is refering to the metal gauge panel that resides underneath all the padding and plastic.
It was my first question here a year ago and I didn't know what to call it either.

The screws are around the perimeter. The top screws are visible after the windshield is lowered.
What you may find is not for the faint of heart.
