FlexlessXJ After some sketchy misfiring on the trail sunday and a drop in compression on #3, I decided to take care of my piston slap issue. Cyl walls are in good shape, so as my machinist recommended, gonna throw a set of sealed power pistons in with fresh rings before I do a ground up rebuild. Let's hope the crank and rods are in good shape when I get the oil pan off! So 4 days till another Sunday ride?

NCtom Count me in for that

FlexlessXJ Yeah man, page rd has a lot to offer for a local trail. I'd invest some time into it if other's were also inclined to do so. I think there is more to explore in the area where we first turned around.

rbk001 I'd like to go back out to page one day and clean up the trail a bit, make it a bit more desirable. Just simple pruning here and there. If anyone else is interested let me know. Maybe we can do some more in depth adventuring as well.

Mammoth919 Today, while sitting on the TW trail, I discovered the source of my random chirp. After some thread sleuthing, I have deduced it to faulty water pump bearings, a common problem on the JK's. It is random and has been doing it since I bought it new in July 2014. However today after some trailblazing, I was sitting still idling, and it seemed pretty constant at that time. I plan on swinging by the dealership this up coming week since it is a warranty repair and it looks like there was a service bulletin posted by Chrysler...If anyone has the link to that, I would be very grateful.

My Jeep decided to dive in a mud puddle. All by itself.

Damn Jeeps. Can't stop them from having an adventure. Lol

I had to stop and push a guy on a Harley out of a drainage ditch today. It was trying to be a Jeep. Lol
