coolman8bc I've got that little switch for extra lights on that black panel and i always hit the darn thing with my knee and hand when i shift occasionally. Good thing there's no lights hooked up to it.

tiny terror Thanks much. Your answer was very helpful. I've never physically seen the lights, so I guess I should go somewhere I can handle them. I've wired two of my own shops, I don't know why wiring anything into a vehicle makes me nervous.

osbornl1 ok i can help a little. most any light i have ever bought has a "bolt" on the bottom of it that you will slide through a hole and bolt tight. as long as the bolt diamaiter is the not larger than the holes in your bumper it will work without modification. also most light kits come with pre exsiting wire kits and switchs. i myself would try and find some older style 97/98 fog light switchs they mount in the blank panel below the lighter plug. you could wire them up to the factory turn stick (thats where my factory ones are) you would just need a factory wire diagram that would show you how hope some of that helps.

lights, lights, dang it....

Ok, ok, I searched, I swear I did. I've looked here and there, so I'm going to ask a question....(quiet bigjeep ) I want to add fog lights to my stock bumper. Now, before you say well then just do it.....

Are the fog lights (hella etc) I've seen mountable on the bumper or are there specific lights for the bumper?

Or maybe mounts to add to the lights to add them to the bumper?

Can they be wired to the existing switch in the turning signal stick (I think that's where it is) or do I have to add a switch?

I'm probably overlooking the info right in front of my face, but I'll be danged if I can find it.
