exavid Use a hair dryer or just stick them in place with the velcro and run the heater in the Jeep until you get things warm inside it. I just put the soft top back on after three months of running topless, sigh...

CMA_Rider Bring the windows inside for a couple of hours and try it again. I re-installed my soft top (had bikini and windjammer on) outside in the snow the year before last. I had to do it that way and use needle nose pliers to help me get the windows zippered.

djw97tj Well...idk how this would work outside but the two times that I've been in a situation similar to this I've used a hair dryer. I'm sure it does just wonders for the windows though..

kbwwolf ^^^ This.

Or find somebody who's got a garage and a space heater. I installed my ORH soft top last winter in February, teens outside. Ran an oil heater (plug-in kind) in my garage overnight to get it good and toasty. Still a beast to get the top on, but doable.

Wirenuting Toss a tarp over, let her heat up and put some Vaseline or silicone on the zipper.

Can't get windows back on. Too cold

So we are about to get snowed on and I'm finally caving and putting the windows back on my soft top. (98 tj). I know it's hard when it's cold but now it's impossible. I almost broke the zipper on the first and the other 2 won't go.
I'm considering tarping it though this first snow and next week we may have a 50 degree day. Still may be too cold though.
Any suggestions?
(Don't have access to a friends garage)
