Dare2BSquare I think Arkansas waives sales tax and license fees if you have a really COOL car.

Bought a corvette

Soon... pictures at Disney!!

After going around and round for a couple months and tossing the idea between different cars I finally purchased a toy this past weekend. My wife and I took off around 5:30 Friday evening and stayed in a hotel. 8:45 the next morning I was pounding on the lexus dealers front door begging to get in.

Took it for a 30 minute test drive doing lots of different types of driving. After 4-5 minutes in the drivers seat I knew this was it. The exhaust, handling, ride, comfort, and performance fit everything I was looking for. So I bought it.

After writing a check and signing all the papers the sales man taped up the 30 day tag and said, "Keep it under 150!" I laughed and told him that my wife was in her MazdaSpeed6 and I'd try to keep it under 150 but I had to at least keep up with her. I averaged 28.6mpg on the way home which only cost me $18.56 for the 3.5 hour drive home.

After driving it for 3 days my honest opinion is that I can't believe I didn't own one sooner. It is tons of fun to drive, drift, and toss into the corners. So here are some garage pics. Cause it is still wet outside after yesterdays snow.

in my humble, yet free, garage.

These are by far the most comfortable seats I've had the pleasure of sitting in. I prefer them over my mother in laws Lexus.

I specifically bought the coupe for the targa top. It has very nice storage in the rear to keep it from getting all jacked up.

Stock LS2 is rated at 400HP/400TQ. This will be taken care of quickly.
