kartgrl31 Thanks for the info on the back seat, I couldn't find the owners manual anywhere so tomorrow I can load it.

As for being careful I should mention I am a crazy driver, I used to e-brake drift my sentra and do random things. Hate to say it but I think I have the bug, when I see a pile of snow or anything I go over it, can't help it.

So far the main mods I am planning are not crazy, I want the rock crawler textured tube steps to protect my doors, matching back bumper with hitch so I can haul the bikes, and matching front bumper with a winch. I will post pics of how it is now as soon as finals end.

scotiez Welcome, Post some pics when you get a chance. Before adding to many mods i would just drive it, and figure out what you want it to look like, and do mods that help the type of driving that you do. For example Rock crawling mods are different then just some mild trail riding. It can get quit expensive if you jump in with both feet and not knowing what everything is for yet.

stevens243 Welcome. On your y2k jeep, to remove the back seat, pull the pins on the front mounting bracket, fold the seat down, release the rear (drivers side) lever to fold the seat up and then push it into one side of the front mounts to pull the other side out. Once one side is out, the other will come. Store the cotter pins on the seat tabs and you should be good to go.

Newbie from NY

So I am newbie to jeeps, I just got mine on sunday. It is 2000 Wrangler V6 sport 50,000, moved up from and 04 sentra. I have a hardtop on it and plan on adding more mods, but is there anything I should know about it or be carefull of?

Oh and stupid question but how do I take out my backseat? I have to move out of the dorm and load in a crf50 so I need the room.
