decided to clean up my wiring and a bit and get rid of the switches that i was using before. hated them on the A pillar. but it was cheap and easy.
making my own "sPod" so to speak.
6 switch panel (couldve done more, but if i want more i could always make another)
fused and relayed distribution panel. all wired and ready to just plug into the accessories (when i get around to it)
custom switches ordered today from OTRATTW for:
50" light bar
thinking that when i remake the next one, i will put 8 switches and have room for an air gauge for my VIAIR compressor i have waiting to be installed.

everything is adjusted so jeep is driving like shes supposed to.
also put some door trim on my 50" lightbar to stop the dam whistling.

managed to FINALLY break my D30 ring gear, pulling a porsche panamera out of a ditch. of course, i broke it 2 days before i would be pulling the axle for the D44 swap....
Front axle built up and installed.

Looking to do a candy apple red (darker than regular red) for the wheel. and then a black ring. i work at a powdercoating shop, so will be easy to get done. will match the rest of the red on jeep to wheels as well.

Bought a 2013 hardtop for an awesome price. just had to cut off 2 small mounts in rear and it works perfect on my 09. will be painting it gloss black soon.
been playing around with hi res photos. also have been doing a lot of giveaways on my jeeps facebook page. spiderwebshade, LEDs, and many more to come (Surprise cant say what)

the badlands is great, has everything from sand, rocks, steep climbs, water crossings, easy trails, harder trails.
i personally am super bored of it though, since ive gone there a number of times. now i just go when there is an event to catch up with friends.

50" black box does great, just make sure to fill out the warranty card on it, and if your side mounting bolts dont come black, paint them before the install. cause they WILL rust, and fast. i have friends with all the different 50" bars, so im gonna be doing tests with all of them showing the output of each and quality. and not locked yet. i use my ebrake as my locker. haha.

so quite a bit has happened since my last update.
as far as jeep updates:
finished putting the gussets on the roll cage. and am now in the works on the front portion of cage and racing seats and harness bars. I also picked up a 79 D60 kingpin front axle and a 14B rear axle. but wont be building those for a while since i dont have the coin to put into new wheels and all the brackets, driveshafts, all that jazz. the 14B already has new calipers on it, which saves me from doing the swap. I'll also be relocating to Denver area this year.
now, for the good stuff.
hit up moab last month. Towed her out there behind the raptor (which i sold few weeks ago). Used a buddies BIG ass trailer. towed beautifully with that long of a trailer with little weight on the raptor, but dam was it heavy. met up with some crazy canadians out there eh.
pics or it didnt happen, well, okay, because you asked.
had 2 almost roll overs (Jay...) no damage or brakes (pardon my pun, because we had to replace an entire brake caliper, pads and rotor on one jeep). Cant wait to be back out there again soon. was absolutely the greatest trip of my life.

some updates on the custom cage build. still need to add some tubing gussets (need to get new notcher) and then burn those in. then work on A pillar, windshield bar, and 2 harness bars (once my die comes in). wont have the die before moab this weekend though. and im considering using a roll on bedliner for roll cage. cause i dont want to have to touch up the cage in the future. head clearance is good with straight bars. soft top works. will be getting some wake board speaker pods for the rear. some shots.

my "folks" dont pay for my mods, as much as id love my dad to, he doesnt have the money to spend on me. ive paid my way for 3 years now. and i dont want to stay here for longer than i have to.
and yea 60s should be awesome, once i get them, ill have to throw in about 2-3 grand to each axle before i consider them worthy for driving..oh and shes a daily driver..MPG...bye byee
