Neil F. Really. The covers are not water tight and they are under the dash.

TJspeed I did the same and I took them off. I doubt you'll get water near them unless your doing deep water crossing and if you are that's the least of your worries

Under dash courtesy lights

I just replaced my dome lights and under dash courtesy lights with LED's and love it, but when I put the white cover back on the under dash lights I lose alot of light. I was wondering if anyone has clear lens light covers, or you have found some. I searched but couldnt find any for that light. I dont really want to go with out having the covers off because I dont want water any where near it. I live in Washington state, and it just started the rainy season again.
Thanks
