Jeeps Guns 'n' Women...not necessarily in that order

Hey all....

Been a while, but the move is completely done, and then the honeydo list showed up, after being covered in drywall, dust and then paint, I'm ready to get out hopefully before the weather fully socks things in.

Was curious is anyone knows of trail/shooting areas that are good to hit? I can go to the range...clays at Kiowa are fun...but there is nothing like being in the great outdoors.

Some folks have told me about areas in Pikes Peak National Forest outside of Palmer Lake where you can shoot. I know folks can shoot in Devil's Canyon (although I don't feel safe there when people are, as I've seen too many people shooting 10 feet parallel of the trail and other shooting across...dumb@sses). So want a good place to jeep around in, shoot the scenery with a camera and then shoot some targets.

Any suggestions? Much obliged!

Jeeps, guns and a woman is there anything better in life?
