WatchThis! You can also use a large hose clamp to hold the spring to the axle so that way when you do over flex the srping wont fall out, it will just un seat on the top perch(might end up seting in the perch crooked, but thats better then it falling all the way out)

I have done both to my rear spring since I am a firm beleaver in overkill.

WatchThis! You over flexed alowing the spring to pop out of seat. Easyest fix is to find somewhere to flex back out and sit the spring back in place. A cheap and easy mod to keep this from happening again is buy/build some limit straps.

Novice needs some info.

Ok so, I just had a 4 in rough country lift installed with 33 12.50's. This morning, I take it to a trail and about half way through the ride, note: wasn't going crazy and on the relatively mild trails I had found, my e-brake light comes on. I mash the brakes to find them very soft but not gone. Once off the trail I look underneath to find my coil spring on the right rear not sitting where its suppose to. Is this installation error? Thoughts? Easy fix? How/why would the coil come out like that?
