One drawback is that I have personalized plates, and have been using a clear plastic cover to protect them. As we know, there are the rear tail lights on the Wrangler's and this piece sticks out from the rear of the vehicle and cover the license plate. There is no way to use the clear piece to cover over the plate.

Anybody know of a solution for this? Even better, andy Jeep stores in the Toronto area that have anything?

Thanks
oh man, only one thing you can do.

trade the jeep in

redsfan yes, I am. I am not a handyman but was thinking when my neighbour comes home next week he probably does and could work on cutting around it for me. Cardboard cut out should work, thanks!

NTJeep I had the same problem. I assume you are talking about the license plate light. I made a pattern with a piece of cardboard and then used a dremel tool to notch out the clear cover to allow for the license plate light. If this won't work, you could also take a clear piece of plexiglass and make a very low profile cover that is the same dimensions as the license plate.
