Wildbill The wiring diagrams in CHILTON'S Manuals are very detailed. I replaced a body tub on a '79 CJ-5 and used one to trace down the whole wiring harness with sucess.

Wiring diagram- Early 80's CJ-5?

Anybody have a wiring diagram for an early 80's CJ-5, carburated six cylinder? I am shortly going to be fixing someones major mistakes while swapping in a long block. Started as a complete jeep a few weeks ago, the owner let a yokel under the hood and when the jeep was picked up for me, parts were scattered in the dirt in a 60 foot radius. Goody me. So the owner sent up a hail mary and this is my next undertaking. I'm just hoping all the parts are there. Wish me luck.
