wanderlust True, look into it Ed, let me know the details
11-14-2012 09:09 PM
Oldguy No comment, however it would provide you with a way to pass the long winter nights
11-14-2012 08:54 PM
wanderlust Should of been committed a very long time ago.

Colo-TJ I have no issues there. Besides- might as well die doing something you love. :-)
11-14-2012 07:23 PM
Oldguy Chad, your death would probably be slower and more painful than mine...

Colo-TJ I might be interested in that deal if your not Dan.
11-14-2012 07:14 PM
wanderlust Hmmmm, I could possibly shove it in my garage.
11-14-2012 07:00 PM
Oldguy Oh, definitely! Guy's been ragging on me about this for over a year. And I've been thinking about what Danny's talking about for about as long. Only problem is if I brought home another jeep I fear that I would be subjected to a very slow and painful death...

LadyTJ Good stuff!

11-14-2012 06:46 PM
Oldguy Don't know. I can probably hunt him down tomorrow or friday and check it out. Since he more than likely bought it up here it's probably not too bad. Think the problem is the engine is wore out.
11-14-2012 06:38 PM
wanderlust Hmm, how rotted out is the 5?
11-14-2012 06:36 PM
Oldguy There's this crazy old coot that I know and no comments from the Peanut Gallery please. He's got a 5 and a 7. Deal is if someone takes the snowplow off the 5 and puts it on the 7 they can have the 5.

Oldguy Plus I know where we could get a 5 for nothing but some elbow grease and some welding. With title.

Wheel base getting to you?

You realize that there is absolutely no need to do what you want to do starting with a TJ. Since you're going to be gutting everything from the frame down why not do a real class act and build off of a CJ5?

wanderlust Had that in my fj-40. She has the 2.5 now, neon motor swap is very straight forward. To much fab of the straight six toyo motor. Almost bolted right into my fj tho

wanderlust Lcg, stretch, belly up without BL, 33s and lots of wheel travel.
11-14-2012 12:41 PM
wanderlust Driver mod first.. Then..... Busy out the tube bender, welder and pocket book!
11-14-2012 12:40 PM
wanderlust Oh boy, another one... Some very cool things you can do to that nice pristine stock TJ..... Sorry, Unmodded jeeps make me drool.. So many possibilities.
