turn a dial on the shock. 1 - 9 with 1 being softest.

They are adjustable. You can go from rocking back and forth at stops soft, or stiff as a RC. I like mine soft for on road and stiff offroad to keep from bottoming out coming off of obstacles. Heck, you can even get an on-board adjustment system to make changes on the fly for another $250.

Hhscobra11 Ok and those rancho 9000xl's will I be able to notice it riding smoother or anything I think the ones on it now are just stock? And it's extremely rough riding

B-wils-TJ Don't get the rough country's.. I have them now and they are EXTREMELY stiff. I can't wait for them to wear out so I can get bilsteins

Shocks

I ran the Rough Country 2.2's for two years, them went with Rancho 9000xls. The difference was night and day going with the Ranchos.(AAA+++). Weather running fire roads or the rocks they work. Just dial down for wheeling, and crank up for the highway. The Ranchos are more $, but you get what you pay for. At times Ranchos have deals.

Need help picking out new shocks

I just bought my jeep and it needs new shocks put in the front I have a 4 inch lift and I was trying to decide between rough country nitro 9000 or rough country 2.2 series.. If anyone has experience with these and. Could tell me which is better or What shocks out there are better for the around the same money ?? Thanks
