Leaking doors

Hello all, ive got a 99 tj with half doors, the uppers are slider windows. i love the design but im getting water in around the top of the uppers, and can see day light between them and the door frame. also, im getting water around the seal where the upper sits on the half door, anyone else ever had this problem? i was wondering if it would help to put a washer or two between the window frame and the roll bar? idk if this is possible or not but planned on trying it one day when im off. Just throwing it out to see if i can get any tips or info before wasting time on my day off. thanks ahead of time guys
