|socalsport||I finally got around to installing my kit. Got about 3 inches lift on the rear and maybe 4 on the front. However my original springs were the 12s so I had a huge case of rake so now it sits really level. Overall I'm very pleased, the Jeep rides fantastic. I decided on 315 duratracs on the rugged ridge wheels.|

LOL! If volume demands it, then we will definitely produce 2.5" coils for the 2-Door. To date we haven't had that many requests for it.

I want this kit, however, MC doesn't sell the dual rate springs in 2.5" for the 2door, only for 4doors.
Would have totally been down for the Game Changer six pack too...
Come on guys, what happened to the LoC builds that MC is famous for??
I may end up doing a Frankenkit with some other springs down the road.

I am installing a 3.5 gamechanger metalcloak kit.
On a 2012 rubi, auto, 4 door.
Until now installed:
-front lower and upper control arms
-rear also lower and upper
-front and rear trackbar
Next week hope to install the springs and shocks.
Have to say... it already is really a difference!!!

I ended up taking out the rear bumps tops and going with two hockey pucks up front, and so far so good.

The bump stops are adjustable from 1-4" depending on the shocks and the tire to fender clearance. We do you the long travel OME shocks in our kit.

Driveway slants slightly toward rear. Also that's with Trail Mods removable flares-removed.

Here are some pics of me wheeling in Uwharrie. The first few pics are before and afters. I had MetalCloak control arms with stock springs and shocks (Rubicon) with a TF BB. The after pics are with MetalCloak 2.5 in springs (I gained 3 inches of lift) paired with Bilstein 5100s 16" / 27" front, 15" / 25" in back.
This set up improved my ride drastically, on and off road. On road the suspension absorbs impacts smoothly, while keeping the Jeep well centered. I can actually take 35 MPH curves at about 50MPH now. Off road the Jeep flexes smoothly, out to 2-3 inches more than my previous setup. The Jeep also stays nice and level when off camber, without that "tipsy" feeling I used to get. I could also drive over the terrain at a faster pace, as the suspension kept the bump stops from bottoming out no matter what I threw at them.
Mat, I tried tagging y'all on FB to no avail, so here they are on the forum. Awesome product! I'm very satisfied.

Hi Combatchuk, had a quick look at your thread, it looks awesome. Did the kit ship with the LT or the Mid travel front shocks. Either way, it looks like you have a heap of bump stop up front, that you may not need for shocks alone, as both have a pretty short compressed length compared to other shocks.
Can you throw a tape measure over it, centre or bottom lip of rim of rim to flare or something, so we get an idea of the actual height.

I too installed a MetalCloak lift, I went with the 2.5" Game Changer lite. The instructions were crap (and incomplete) but the hardware is great and it rides really nice. I have a few pictures in my build thread if you'd like to reference them.

I will take a lot of pics as I install the lift and the results. Still need a few little things like a Procal, and an exhaust spacer, Bolt kit etc. Decided on machined rugged Ridge rims with the black rim protectors and Toyo 295/70/17 Toyo MT's.

|opalgem||I'm new and still waiting for another month for my Jeep. After lots of research online I ordered the gamechanger 3.5" from Metalcloak. I wanted bigger tires then realized I needed to get this and that to compensate for everything. I seen the bent joints on some brands of lifts. Liked the on road and high speed capabilities of this MC lift according to all the YouTube videos. I watched them all like the Terraflex guy is good. But I ended up going for a full package that included everything upper and lower adjustable control arms etc. along with those special looking shocks! HeHe I like the way thy look in the videos. So far I have a set of lights and 36" tires on black rims. They were only 5" back space so I ordered .75" hubcentric spacers to fit tires with lift. Sleeves gussets balljoints warn 9.0RC MC stubby. HiD's +LED back up light. Now I'm wondering about fitting the spare and the correct bump stops for the stock fenders. Jeep won't be here for another 4.5 weeks they estimate. I've been ordering stuff for 6 weeks. I can't afford to wait any longer. haha|
