pne123 Good to know. I looked up the weights and the XJ is only about 100-150lbs more per axle so 50 lbs per shock. I am sure I will never notice the difference.

Irongrave XJs are more or less the same weight upfront as a TJ. I ran TJ shocks in my old XJ no issues.

pne123 Does anyone know where I can find spring rates for the different Bilstein part numbers? Maybe that will give me an idea if they are going to be too stiff.

Bilstein XJ front shocks on a TJ

I order a set of bilstein 5100 for my TJ. I was sent for the rear 24-86827 which are correct. But for the front i was sent 24-185622 which are for a Cherokee. I was told they will fit my 2" lift application but I am concerned that they will be too stiff since they are for an XJ. Does anyone know if the valving is much different between them?
